I was going to write about gardening this month and the effects on abnormal children.
In the few years since Arthur’s diagnosis my family and I have been 36 a lot with our youngest son. We have 37 that like most children, he is happiest outside, and he’s in his element when either walking or doing things in the open air.
38 , the garden has become a bit like an open sensory room. When we’ve had guests at home，Arthur would behave well. But the 39 is where we’ve gone and he’s almost instantly 40 . In the early days a little grass in the garden worked wonders. It made the process of 41 more interesting to him, and meant that now thankfully he continues to eat a wide 42 of fruit and vegetables. Of course anyone who gardens knows how 43 gardening can make you feel. I’ve heard time and time again from people how powerfully healing the 44 of gardening can be.
I believe that gardening has the 45 to empower those with autism(自闭症) — to build confidence that will 46 into other areas of their lives.
